If the wall is finished in tile, we could use anchors with adhesive fixing, cleaning the surface of the tile so that it does not have dust, and once it is dry, mark the ideal position of the axis of the painting. If the painting is heavy or we prefer to secure both plaster and tile, we will place a plug that stays in the wall (expansive plugs in the case of brick walls or anchor or umbrella plugs in the case of plasterboard walls) ). To place the plug we will use a drill that perforates the wall. It is important to remember that the drill must have the appropriate diameter for the plug that we are going to use, both the plug and the drill have marks that define their diameter. Once the holes have been made, we will insert the plugs with the help of a hammer, making sure before we have penetrated the wall at least the length of the plug. A little trick to avoid staining the entire room is to place a damp cloth under the drill while drilling, holding it with the hand that is not handling the drill. It will collect all the plaster or brick dust that we will make when drilling the wall.
